Joys of student-hood

My Thursday was wonderful:

5:15pm: show up for tail end of LAC coffee hour (free cookies)

5:35pm: Mother Hubbard’s cupboard for Vegan food for a $2 donation (yummy humus, mango tofu and black bean main dish, pilaf and maple cake - yum)

6:00pm: Classics Department Wine and Cheese (lots of both untll i was tipsy and full)

9:00pm: Students of History at Concordia Pub Night at Brutopia (one free beer)

10:45pm: Walking home tipsy.

No homework done, but still a feeling of accomplishment.

  2. What have we learned?

History has taught us that we get very little for nothing.

Still, wine and cheese are classics and always in abundance.

  3. History teaches nothing. We (sometimes) learn from history. Remember to always a passive construction in this context
